Raymond Lockhart
Therapist for children, teens and parents
Raymond sees children and teens, and the two adults raising them, at his office in Lincoln.
He starts with the adults, because children notice whether the grown-ups around them are being heard. He meets each parent before he meets your child, in separate calls with the same questions. Then he sees your child on a rhythm you set together, and he sees each parent on their own.
Who he meets with
- Children ages 6 to 12
- Teens ages 13 to 17
- Each parent, on their own
- Both parents, when both ask

The rules he keeps
Three things Raymond will not do
A child in the middle of a divorce needs one adult who stays out of the fight.
Carry a message
He never passes a message from one parent to the other, in either direction.
Choose a side
He does not say which parent is right, and he does not ask your child to choose.
Decide custody
Where your child lives is for your parenting plan or the court. He does not recommend, and he does not testify about it.
